A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, in Grenada Memorial Garden for Mr. James J. Gootee, 71, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, Nov. 29, in Grenada.
James was a United States Navy veteran.
While James has no immediate survivors in the area, he leaves behind a host of friends and caregivers that provided excellent care for him over the last 13 years at Grenada Rehab and Health.
