From Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office The Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office stops Treveon Dorsey’s vehicle on Monday, Feb. 3. Dorsey was charged with speeding, driving under suspension and resisting an officer. Dorsey is also facing charges in the Ouachita Parish. He fled on foot to nearby woods, but was eventually taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Office without any further incident or threat to the community.

Brown taken into custody on rape charges

On Dec. 30, 2024, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the FBI conducted a search warrant at a Tallulah residence in the early morning hours. After a lengthy extensive investigation warrants were obtained for Marvin Lee Brown.

Individual charged with 2nd-degree murder for reported stabbing

On Monday, Dec. 23, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to respond to Security Management Correctional for a reported stabbing.
Upon Deputies arrival they encountered one inmate with a severe laceration.
The injured inmate was transported to the Madison Parish Emergency Room by ambulance.
