Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 7, 2025 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Senatobia.
Burial follows in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery in Senatobia.

Several local fire departments responded to a residence fire at 301 North Crockett Road on Friday, Dec. 5 at approximately 7:45 a.m.
Officials are still investigating the source of the blaze that fully engulfed the home.
District 1 Volunteer Fire Department received assistance from Senatobia Fire & Rescue as well as volunteers from Coldwater, Poagville and Looxahoma.

The founder of one of Senatobia’s oldest businesses has been chosen as grand marshal of the city’s 2025 Christmas parade.
James McCrary, previous owner of McCrary's Furniture & Appliances, will be in the lead vehicle Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m., when dozens of floats, marching bands and holiday-based displays make their way through the streets of Senatobia transforming the city into a magical holiday wonderland.
