Gerald Franklin Crawford (better known as “Crash”), age 83, of the Looxahoma community passed from this life to his eternal home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Iris Cove Nursing and Rehab in Memphis, after battling cancer.
He was born in Oxford, Miss., to Harold and Doris Crawford on August 28, 1942. He graduated from Como High School and worked at various occupations throughout his life. He worked at the William Carter Company, Meucci Originals, Bush Hog Continental Gin Company, Alumax, and Performance Towing.

Barbara Ann Hunter, 66, of Senatobia, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis.
She was a 1978 graduate of Senatobia High School and then went on to graduate from Northwest Mississippi Community College School of Nursing. Barbara worked as an LPN for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Hunter; mother, Janice Britt Stull; sister, Donna Michelle Murphy; and brother, Larry Wayne Hunter.
