Call to Order, Establish a quorum Pledge of Allegiance & Prayer
Roll Call: Mayor Preston Walker X Councilwoman Margaret Leoty X Councilman Walter Cobb X, Margaret Leoty X, Curt Collins X and Clerk Gen Ellis, Christy Hodge X.
Open discussion of Agenda
Guest: Mr. Harold Allen, Tallulah Fire Department
Motion to Approve the minutes of the previous meeting, October 21,2025, was made by Walter Cobb, seconded by Margaret Leoty.
Motion Carried.
Motion to Approve the Financial Statements as paid for the month of October 2025 was made by Margaret Leoty, seconded by Walter Cobb. Motion Carried.
Old Business:
1) Councilwoman Leoty reported funding for the Beautification Micro Grant has been approved by Entergy.
2) Drainage ditch update by Councilwoman Leoty; Mr. Clinton
Epps and his workers will bring equipment to clean out the drainage ditch culvert on Burnside Drive.
3)Mayor Walker reported old street signs have been replaced throughout the Village of Richmond. Old warning signs will be replaced on the fence around the Oxidation Pond.
New Business:
1) After a discussion with Mr. Harold Allen, a motion was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilwoman Margaret Leoty to make a donation toward some much-needed equipment for the Fire Department, the Village of Richmond much appreciates the Fire Protection services to the Village of Richmond. Motion Carried.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Curt Collins, seconded by Councilwoman Margaret Leoty. Motion Carried.
The next regular meeting of the Mayor and Council will be held on the third Tuesday of December 16, 2025, at 598 Wood Street,
Richmond, LA 71282 at 5:30 P.M.
