SPECIAL MEETING
March 24, 2026
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF DELTA HELD a Special meeting at Delta City Hall on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Present were Mayor, Kathy Davis, Council Members, Brian Panquin, Stephanie Edleston, and Clerk Susan Peterson.
Council Member Panquin, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to Appoint Nikki Beckham as Alderman for the Village of Delta filling, the vacancy created by Kathy Davis.
Yeas 2 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Panquin, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve Resolution 2026-0324 calling for a Special Election, to fill unexpired term which was created by Kathy Davis. Election dates are November 3, 2026 & December 12, 2026. Yeas 2 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 5:28 P.M

Resolution 2026-0324
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council, of the Village of Delta, Parish of Madison, State of Louisiana, do hereby agree to hold a special election to fill the unexpired term which was created by Alderman Kathy Davis effective February 16, 2026.
The special election will be as follows:
Election dates will be November 3, 2026 and December 12, 2026.
Qualifying dates are July 29, 30, & 31, 2026.
The Above RESOLUTION was ADOPTED on March 24, 2026.
