Authorities said the sheriff’s office was notified of a pursuit on Interstate 20 involving a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle exited at Delta and entered the village.
The vehicle was later found abandoned near the levee. Three individuals fled on foot over the levee, authorities said.
One suspect surrendered to law enforcement after a short time. Two other suspects were later taken into custody, including one who was armed.
All three suspects were taken into custody without further incident. Authorities said the suspects will face charges in Madison Parish and will then be extradited to Warren County.
