1 injured as Tallulah home gutted by fire

Officials with Tallulah Fire Department (TPD) responded Sunday to house fire on Florida Street that destroyed a home and left its occupant in the hospital.

According to Tallulah Fire Chief Harold Allen, TPD responded to the fire in the 1400 block of Florida Street to find the home already fully involved.

Farmerville man killed in single-vehicle crash; impairment suspected

Union Parish – Today (Sun., Oct. 22), shortly before 1 a.m., troopers with Louisiana State Police (LSP) Troop F began investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on North Spillway Road near Wildwood Drive. The crash claimed the life of 21-year-old John Jones of Farmerville.

Crowd gathers downtown for Teddy's Bear Fest

The 2023 iteration of a Tallulah favorite was a success Saturday when a crowd gathered on the Madison Parish Courthouse lawn for Teddy's Bear Fest.

Vendors, music, food and much more was available for the enjoyment of everyone from kids to adults at the annual festival.
