BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LASM) will host its annual Museum Store Holiday Shopping event on Thursday, November 16, from 2 PM – 6 PM in the LASM Museum Store.
The LASM Museum Store will have a wide range of curated gifts, perfect for all ages and price points. Guests are invited to shop, enjoy seasonal snacks, try their luck at special door prizes, get their purchases gift-wrapped, and complete their holiday gift shopping list.
LASM Museum Store and Membership Manager Paula Taylor has stocked the Museum Store for this special event. “Our annual Museum Store Shopping Event is a great opportunity to find unique gift items you won’t find at the mall and support LASM at the same time,” states Taylor.
Joining the LASM Museum Store this year will be Boujoux by Mandy Roussell and Adornleaf Tea by Rachel Jackson. “We are so happy to introduce Boujoux by Mandy Roussel this year. Mandy has been designing jewelry since 2006, most recently as a designer for the now-closed Grandmother’s Buttons, until she launched her own brand Boujoux this year,” continues Taylor. “In addition to Boujoux, we are very excited to welcome Rachel Jackson of Adornleaf Tea, with a selection of her lovely teas perfect for holiday giving."
Shoppers will also be given the opportunity to tour one of LASM’s newest exhibitions, Celestial Imaginings: Artists Exploring the Galaxies, in the Republic Finance Gallery.
This event will be free of charge, with all proceeds from the Museum Store supporting programs offered at the LASM.
