Tallulah’s 2023 Juneteenth Celebration is entitled “Freedom Fest” and will be held from Thurs., June 15, through Sun., June 18.
Juneteenth is pivotal to the history of Black people in America. On Juneteenth, an amalgamated
term for June 19th 1865, Gen. Granger of the Union Army arrived in Galveston, Texas.
