For the second time in as many games, the Madison High School Jaguars defeated a visiting team 66-46 Tuesday night at home, but this time the win came over the General Trass Panthers and gave MHS its first district victory of the season.
Tuesday's 20-point win gives the Jags a 4-1 overall record and a 1-0 mark in District 3, 2A play. Despite the big victory, the contest got off to a slow offensive start for both teams, with MHS recording a narrow, 8-6 lead after one quarter. By the half, however, the Jags had widened its lead to eight points, as the Panthers trailed 26-18,
