The Madison High School Lady Jaguars put up their final two points of the game at the buzzer Tuesday night, but they didn't need the last-second score to get the big win over the Lady Panthers of General Trass.
Improving to 4-1 on the season and notching their first district win of the year, the Lady Jags were ahead from jump, putting together an impressive offensive performance en route to a 72-25 thrashing of the Lady Panthers at home in Tallulah.
At the half, the Lady Jags led 52-13. After another offensive showcase in the third period, MHS lead 70-24. The Lady Jags took their collective foot off the gas in the fourth, only putting up the last-second layup, but also holding General Trass to only one point in eight minutes of play.
