HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Kalen Williams' 15 points helped Texas A&M-Commerce defeat SE Louisiana 68-52 on Saturday night.
Williams also had nine rebounds for the Lions (7-10, 1-3 Southland Conference). Tommie Lewis scored 14 points while shooting 6 for 11, including 2 for 7 from beyond the arc, and added seven assists. Vincent Reeves shot 5 for 10, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points.
The Lions (6-12, 1-4) were led by Roger McFarlane, who posted 19 points and eight rebounds. Nick Caldwell added 12 points, two steals and two blocks for SE Louisiana. Brody Rowbury also had six points.
Both teams next play Monday. Texas A&M-Commerce visits Lamar and SE Louisianaplays Northwestern State at home.
