Call to Order: Mayor Preston Walker
Establish a Quorum, Open with a silent prayer, Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call:
Mayor Preston Walker X, Councilwoman Margaret Leoty X, Councilmen Walter Cobb X, Curt Collins Absent, Clerk Gen Ellis X, Christy Hodge X.
Motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilman Margaret Leoty. Motion Carried.
Motion to approve the Financial Statements as paid for the month of November 2025 was made by Councilman Walter Cobb, seconded by Councilman Margaret Leoty. Motion carried.
New Business:
A tentative Christmas Dinner is planned for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 P.M.
The Mayor and Council looked at the Civic Center Kitchen which needs repairs.
The Mayor and Board discussed possible expenditures for the FY 2025-2026 LGAP Grant.
Mayor Walker reported that new warning signs have been installed at the Village of Richmond Oxidation Pond and will follow up with the highway department regarding reflectors that will be used in certain locations.
Councilwoman Leoty will contact Entergy to report streetlights that need replacing in the Village of Richmond.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by motion made by Councilman Margaret Leoty, seconded by Councilman Walter Cobb.
Motion Carried.
The NEXT regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayro and Council of the Village of Richmond will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 598 Wood Street, at 5:39 P.M.
