BOARD MEETING
August 16, 2022
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF DELTA HELD its Regular meeting at Delta City Hall on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Present were Mayor Marvin Ashley, Council Members, Kathy Davis, Pam Stokes, Stephanie Edleston and Clerk Susan Peterson.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to dispense with the minutes from the last meeting. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve the bills paid in July 2022. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve keeping John Crigler as the City Attorney for Village of Delta. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve FY 2023 LCDBG Grant for the use of street improvement. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve purchasing used furniture for the Village of Delta Volunteer Fire Department and Delta City Hall.
Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.

Council Member Stokes, made a motion seconded by Council Member Edleston, to approve pursuing consolidating and refinancing sewer loan at a better rate and timing of pay off. Yeas 3 Nays 0 Motion carried.
