The City of Tallulah, along with the Madison Parish Police Jury, the Village of Richmond, the Village of Delta, the Village of Mound and the Madison Parish Rotary Club, invites the public to the 2021 Veterans Day Parade and Program Thurs., Nov. 11.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. (lineup will begin at 9:30 a.m.) and will depart from the Tallulah Madison Community Center. The program will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the community center.
A spaghetti luncheon for veterans and their families will immediately follow the program. “We talked with all of the entities and decided to do one main Veterans Day event,” said Tallulah Mayor Charles Finlayson. “With COVID-19 concerns, we wanted to eliminate duplicate events to keep our veterans safe and still honor them on this special day.” The public is encouraged to attend this event and show honor to Madison Parish veterans.
