Delhi Charter School running back Deandra Young rushed for 183 yards and piled up three touchdowns in the Gators' 46-14 win over conference foe the Delta Charter Storm on the road in Ferriday Thursday.
The win gives the Gators an 8-1 record on the season and an unblemished 4-0 mark in Class 1A, District 4 action.
The Gators still sit atop the District 4 rankings after Thursday's win, when DCS totaled 305 yards rushing on 38 combined carries.
Young led the group, while fellow running backs Shamar Udeji and Keidron Thomas followed with 47 and 29 yards, respectively. Quarterback Chad Clark II also chipped in on the ground with 46 yards and a touchdown.
Lane Lively and Merritt Coenen also found the end zone, both on kick returns, for the Gators, while Clark, Udeji and Thomas each added a 2-point conversion. Young also led the team in the 2-point conversion category, with two on the night.
Defensively, Lane Chappell led the Gators with 3 solo tackles, 6 assisted tackles and 2 tackles for a loss. Blake McKinney also finished with 3 solo tackles and 6 assists, while tallying 1 tackle for a loss.
Levi Ezell and Coenen each finished Thursday's game with a sack, while Antonio Williams Jr. finished with 3 solo tackles, 3 assists and an interception.
Ezell recorded a forced fumble, while Lively and Coenen each finished with a fumble recovery.
The Gators will finish its regular season Thursday at home on Senior Night versus conference foe Sicily Island, which sits at fourth in the district at 2-2 and at 2-7 on the season.
The Tigers fell last week in a 38-0 loss to Delhi High School.
Kickoff for the Gators and Tigers is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Brett Raley Field.
