Christmas Along the Bayou 2021 will kick off this weekend in Tallulah.
After a year off in 2020 due to concerns over COVD-19, this year's festivities will begin Sunday morning with a crafts fair and will conclude Sunday night with a fireworks finale.
This year's Business Decorating Contest will be judged Friday, beginning at 6 p.m. Each business that participates will be judged and will be eligible for bragging rights for first, second and third place titles and will be featured in the Madison Journal. Organizers said all businesses need to do is decorate the exterior of buildings, or have a window display, in order to qualify. Lights should be lit by 6 p.m.
