Kennedy wins Girls Basketball MVP, Watson Coach of Year

Tallulah Academy senior center Abigail Kennedy is the All-Madison Journal girls basketball MVP and coach Scott Watson is the Coach of the Year.
Both Kennedy and Watson won the honors for a second consecutive season.

Proposed Constitutional Amendments fail in Madison Parish, State of Louisiana

All four proposed Louisiana Constitutional Amendments did not receive support in the Madison Parish and failed in a statewide special election on Saturday.
The unofficial voter turnout in the Madison Parish was around 16.5%.
