Water inventory continues to build in tanks

Tallulah, LA WATER UPDATE 8/29/24 6:00 pm: Water inventory continues to build in tanks. Pressure continues to stabilize. We do not anticipate any issues over night.

We continue under the boil advisory in place. Water should be boiled for two minutes, at a rapid pace, prior to use or consumption. Next update at 11:00 pm.

Emergency Diesel Pump operational; boil advisory continues

Tallulah, LA Alert: WATER UPDATE: 8/29/24 at 2:00 pm: Repairs are completed on the Emergency Diesel Pump and it is back operational. Water inventory continues to build in Ground Storage and Elevated Tanks. Pressure is above 40 pounds.

City of Tallulah experiencing issues with emergency diesel pump

(Tallulah, Louisiana) - The City of Tallulah has experienced a loss of pressure due to the failure of an emergency diesel pump. The pump has been repaired and although complete water loss was avoided, the City of Tallulah water customers will be under a Boil Advisory until samples have been cleared by the State.
