The Lady Trojans of Tallulah Academy, down 5-1 to the Franklin Academy Lady Cougars in the bottom of the sixth inning, staged a comeback that pulled them within one run late in the game, before eventually falling just shy of a win in a 6-4 home loss Thursday night.

Jaguars pick up season's first win in shutout of Northeast Vikings (updated with photo gallery)

The Madison High School Jaguars are 1-1 on the young 2022 season after posting a 26-0 shutout over the Northeast Vikings Friday night at home in Tallulah.

The win comes after a narrow, 14-6 loss to Lincoln Prep to open the season and MHS head coach Milton Green said his young team has come a long way in a short amount of time.
