City of Tallulah opens bids on water plant rehab, work on water well

The City of Tallulah held a public opening of bids for work to be done on Tallulah's water plant Thursday morning at city hall.

One bid was submitted for work on a water well, while a lone bid was also submitted for work to rehabilitate the overall plant.

'Madison Parish is so blessed': EPA funding nets 14 electric buses for public school system

The Madison Parish School District (MPSD) has received a $6 million grant that provided 14 fully electric buses, as well as charging stations. MPSD officials said the buses come with state-of-the-art technology and air conditioning.
