Gas news, prices for the week of November 6

Average gasoline prices in Louisiana have fallen 8.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.91/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 2,436 stations in Louisiana. Prices in Louisiana are 31.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 27.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
