Kazi’s Sweet Adventures, a home-based baking business in Tallulah, has been operating since October 2025 and offers cookies and cheesecake on an order-only basis.
The business is owned by JaleeSha Brown and is named after her son, Kazi, who is 11 months old. Brown said the business was created to introduce her child to entrepreneurship as he grows. Brown and the child’s father, Tyler Cross, help operate the business.
“We bake cookies. We also make very special sweet treats,” Brown said.
Brown said the business does not have a public storefront and does not release a physical address. Orders are accepted through Facebook under the business name Kazi’s Sweet Adventures or by direct message to Brown through her personal Facebook account, listed as JaleeSha Cross. Customers may also contact the business by email at jaleeshab6@gmail.com.
According to Brown, popular items include Biscoff Cookie Swirl and Chocolate Chip Biscoff Swirl. Other offerings include Strawberry Crunch and Triple Chocolate Thunder.
Brown said she believes small food businesses play a role in Tallulah.
“I feel like it’s important for Tallulah to have more food businesses because we are a small town,” Brown said. “It brings more jobs and opportunities and creates entrepreneurship to give children a chance to grow as they get older.”
Brown thanked customers who have supported the business since it opened and said she plans to continue offering baked goods through Kazi’s Sweet Adventures.
