A man arrested Sunday in Tallulah for shooting at vehicle is also facing a slew of drug charges from both the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police.
Antonio Johnson, 33, was taken into custody Sunday after MPSO investigators say they received a call from a Tallulah driver reporting another vehicle had stopped on the road next to his and the vehicle’s driver opened fire on his drivers-side door. Investigators said the victim was able to identify the shooter as Johnson and also gave a description of the vehicle.
Johnson was taken into custody a short time later and now faces charges of attempted 2nd degree murder. MPSO officials said he also faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, distribution of a schedule II substance, possession of a schedule II substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Johnson will face charges of 2 counts of distribution of a schedule II substance and illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance while in the company of a minor, from the LSP narcotics unit.
Johnson was booked into the Madison Parish Jail.
