BATON ROUGE –Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is recognized on DiversityInc’s 2023 Top Regional Companies List. The health plan is ranked 30th among companies that demonstrate workplace fairness, equity and inclusion in their business practices.

DiversityInc’s list is based on survey submissions from employers with at least 750 employees in the United States. Companies are evaluated within the context of their industries on verified policies, practices and procedures.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Named to Forbes List
In February, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana was named to Forbes' 2023 Best Midsize Employers List. The health plan was ranked 56th out of 500 among America’s best midsize employers.
Forbes’ list is based on anonymous feedback through employee surveys, which market research firm Statista compiles. The midsize employer ranking is based on a survey of about 45,000 workers at American companies and institutions with 1,000 to 5,000 employees. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana employs approximately 3,000 people.
