Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Construction Education Foundation (LCEF) is pleased to welcome three new members who will be serving on its board of directors.
Connie Fabre is president and CEO of Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA). She has led GBRIA for 19 years, and has vast industry experience, including previous roles at Louisiana Chemical Association and Exxon Chemicals. With Fabre at the helm, the leadership of GBRIA helped to found the LCEF in 2009.
Kathy Trahan is President and CEO of Alliance Safety Council (ASC). During her tenure at ASC, Trahan has successfully implemented policies that have helped empower companies to make more effective use of their time and resources. She has been working in the industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to ASC, she was director of the Louisiana Center for Petrochemical Training at the Baton Rouge Community College.
Norisha Kirts Glover is the founder and owner of NRK Construction, a firm that specializes in new construction, renovations, tenant build outs and multifamily housing. Prior to establishing her business in 2015, she was in education fundraising for 13 years supporting both K-12 and higher education institutions.
“We are very excited to have three new ambitious leaders on our team and I am excited to see all of the wonderful contributions that they will make throughout their time on this board,” said Milton Graugnard, LCEF’s Chairman. “Each member has already brought unique perspectives and insight to our first meeting, and we look forward to working with them to achieve our mission.”
The leadership of the LCEF looks forward to benefiting from the knowledge and experience each new member brings to the board.
