Madison High School jumped out to an early lead in its season opener at Rinngold and hung on to win 34-20.
Quarterback Jaquarrius “Deuce” Bolden finished with 215 yards passing, 4 touchdown passes and 107 rushing yards for one touchdown.

Tallulah Academy's second half leads to first loss of year

Tallulah Academy suffered its first loss of the season and it came in the district opener.
The Trojans (3-1, 0-1) went into a halftime with a two-point lead, but Briarfield Academy dominated the second half.
Briarfield Academy won 38-14 at Tallulah Academy.
