Whether it is handing out food to those in need, lending a helping hand with holiday tasks or simply being an ear to listen, locals in Madison Parish have embraced the season of giving this Christmas.
Monday, officers with the Tallulah Police Department were out and about, delivering free Christmas bags filled with food for those in need during the holiday season.
Monday’s food delivery was just the most recent in a long list of groups and organizations that have banded together this holiday season to deliver some much-needed cheer and hope. In November, members of the local Masonic Lodge, as well as the local Cub Scout troop, handed out Thanksgiving meals.
