High school students in Madison Parish entering their junior year are eligible to apply for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program, with a deadline of March 31.
The program, known as RYLA, is a leadership training event sponsored by Rotary clubs. It is designed for students who will be juniors in the upcoming school year.
Students selected for the program will attend a leadership camp that includes sessions on communication, decision-making and teamwork. The program also includes group activities and discussions focused on leadership and service.
Applications must be submitted online at www.students.leadernu.com.
Students are selected through a process coordinated by Rotary clubs. The program is intended to develop leadership skills and prepare participants for roles in school and community organizations.
