CHURCH POINT, La. — A Church Point man was arrested Friday for running a cockfighting and dogfighting ring in the town, authorities said. Nicholas Daigle, 44, of Church Point, is charged with cockfighting, cruelty to animals, possession of marijuana and interference with a law enforcement investigation.
