Lincoln/Union Parishes – Recently, Louisiana State Police Troop F and the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division Monroe Field Office partnered with the Lincoln Parish and Union Parish Sheriff’s Offices to conduct a series of enforcement efforts as part of Operation Safe Streets. This initiative is designed to enhance community safety through proactive policing strategies targeting violent crime, drug trafficking, and the illegal possession of firearms.
During the operation, Louisiana State Police provided 74 public assists and conducted 119 traffic stops, resulting in the following enforcement actions and seizures:
• 97 warnings issued
• 41 traffic charges
• 1 search warrant executed
• 9 fugitive warrant arrests
• 1 DWI arrest
• 1 weapons charge and firearm confiscation
• Seizure of approximately 15.7 grams of methamphetamine
• Seizure of approximately 58.4 grams of marijuana
