Funeral Services for Ray Allen “Radar” Tucker, 69, of Newellton, La. were held at 2 p.m., Tue., June 14, at Newellton United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Joel Ford and the Rev. Ricky Jones officiating; internment followed in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home – Winnsboro, La.
Tucker
Radar, a fuel tanker truck driver for 25 years that missed it every day after he retired, was born Oct. 9, 1952, in Delhi to the union of the late Jimmy Tucker and the late Earline Roach Tucker and passed to his heavenly reward at home surrounded by loving family, Sun., June 12, after a lengthy illness.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger Dean Tucker.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Tucker of Newellton, La.; son, Jared Tucker (Jessica) of Monterey, La.; daughter, Rachel Fuller (Derek) of Waterproof, La.; granddaughters, Elizabeth Tucker Olivo (Derrick) of Vidalia, La., and Emma Fuller of Waterproof, La.; grandson, Tucker Fuller of Waterproof, La.; bonus grandchildren, Alivia, Hazeleigh, and Wesley of Monterey; sister, Mary Helen Lambert of Yazoo City, Miss.; brothers, Gary Wayne Tucker of Bon Aqua, Tenn., and Bruce Edward Tucker of Holly Bluff, Miss.; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members; and a host of friends.
Ray was a member of Newellton United Pentecostal Church. His life was his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeff Finley, Perry Frith, Brandt Lance, Danny Lance, Caleb McMurray, and Joshua McMurray.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Sanders and Charles Evans.
