Eric Gregory “Greg” Bush, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Lafayette, La. Thurs., Jan. 19.

Bush was born in Delhi, La. to Eric Roosevelt and Earline (Moreland) Bush.
He was a 1978 graduate of Delhi High School. He was enlisted in the Louisiana National Guard from 1978 -
1981. He then went on to peruse his career as a journeyman electrician for which he held great passion. He was a proud member of the Local Electrical Union IBEW 716 in Houston, where he lived the majority of his career.
Bush held many hobbies, such as, kayaking, fishing and competitive darts. He was extremely intelligent in
history and was a huge sports fanatic. His favorite teams were the Houston Astros (Go Stros!), New Orleans Saints and Texas Longhorns.There wasn’t anything he didn’t know, or would at least try to convince you he knew. If worst came to worse, his famous line would be “Just Google It!”
Bush is survived by his Daughter, Samantha Bush; grand daughter, Brooke Burns; mother, Earline (Moreland) Bush; sisters, Sheila Bush Patterson (Kim Patterson) and Sharron Bush Smith (Bill Arbuckle); and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eric R. Bush; and nephew, Steven Matthew Hardy.
Funeral services for Eric Gregory "Greg" Bush were held at 2 p.m., Sat., Jan. 21, at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation began at 1 p.m.
