Tallulah Academy baseball season comes to end

Tallulah Academy baseball’s baseball team came up just a little bit short in MAIS Class 2A semifinals.
The Trojans season came to end with a 2-1 loss in a three-game semifinals series to Wilkinson County Christian Academy. The Trojans defeated Briarfield Academy in the first round to advance to the semifinals.

Gas news, prices for the week of May 13

(Mon., May 13) —Average gasoline prices in Louisiana have fallen 8.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.11/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,436 stations in Louisiana. Prices in Louisiana are 1.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 8.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
