Application filed for Tallulah water system receivership

The Louisiana Department of Health filed an application for the City of Tallulah’s water system to be under a joint receivership with the state.
Mayor Charles Finlayson made the formal announcement during Monday’s city council meeting. Bonton Associates Inc. out of Baton Rouge is the likely receiver.

From Tallulah Academy Facebook page The Tallulah Academy softball team finished runner-up in the South State Tournament with two victories the Sterlington Complex on Saturday. The Lady Trojans defeated Riverdale Academy 19-6 and Claiborne Academy 8-1. Both Tallulah Academy victories came on Saturday.

Re-introducing Reader's Choice
