NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, thunderstorms from eastern North Carolina into
southeastern Virginia can be capable of producing gusty
winds and small hail. Showers are expected from Florida into
the Appalachians and New York. Some wet snowflakes can mix
in from the Ohio River Valley into southern and eastern
Michigan. Plain snow can fall in northern Michigan, mainly
in the morning. In the interior Northwest there may be some
spotty mountain snow showers and spotty valley rain showers.
Rain is expected in western Oregon and Washington, while
there should be snow in the Cascade and Olympic mountains.
The Plains are expected to be turning warmer, while east of
the Mississippi River will be turning colder and breezy.
Much of the West can be cool relative to historical
averages.
