NATIONAL SUMMARY
In the Southeast, showers and thunderstorms will spread
across the region tomorrow. Localized flash flooding and
damaging wind gusts of 50-60 mph can occur in some areas,
leading to difficult travel. Mild conditions and mainly
sunny skies will be in store for much of the Southwest,
Plains and Ohio Valley, which will make for a nice end to
the weekend. On the other hand, chilly air will spread
across the Northeast. A few snow showers will also expand
into portions of New York which will then advance into
northern New England later in the day. It will be breezy and
mainly dry with some clouds in the Northwest; however, Rain
will soak the coasts of Washington and northern Oregon. Some
snow will mix in and spread into the Cascades late in the
day and into the night.
