NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will bring showers and steady rain from South
Dakota through Florida tomorrow. Thunderstorms will also
erupt from southern Alabama and southern Georgia into
Florida, with some even turning severe, especially in
Florida. Any thunderstorm can bring heavy downpours,
damaging winds and even a tornado. Meanwhile, a massive
storm will impact California and Nevada, bringing torrential
rain, flooding and feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada. Some
coastal rain and inland snow can even push into southern
Oregon and into the Intermountain West. At the same time,
the Northeast will have continued dry conditions as high
pressure remains nearby, while breezy conditions continue
along the coast. Most areas in the Midwest will continue to
be mild and dry.
