NATIONAL SUMMARY
A significant storm will continue to push to the south
across the Intermountain West during the day tomorrow. A
wide zone of snow will accompany the storm, stretching from
northeastern Nevada to northwestern Kansas and from Wyoming
to northern Arizona and New Mexico. Other than some
sprinkles around coastal Southern California, most of the
rest of the West will be dry. An area of strong high
pressure will slide into the northern Plains, ensuring dry
weather across the Midwest and the South as well. However,
showers will build through southeastern Louisiana, most
numerous near the coast. Showers will also track across
portions of Florida and the coast of the Carolinas, and
lake-effect snow is expected in and around the Syracuse
area.
