The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 23, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A push of cold air will accompany a developing storm during
the day tomorrow as it tracks southward across interior
sections of the West. This setup will produce an expanding
area of snow as the Thanksgiving holiday progresses,
affecting places from Montana into Colorado, Nevada and even
western Nebraska by day's end. Otherwise, much of the West
will be quiet tomorrow under varying amounts of sunshine as
a general cooling trend beings in northern spots. Elsewhere,
lake-effect showers will push off of Lake Erie and
especially Lake Ontario, making for wet conditions at times
through portions of western New York. Most of the rest of
the nation will be dry for the holiday, but showers will
extend from southern Louisiana across coastal South Texas,
with sprinkles farther inland.
