The Nation's Weather for Saturday, March 11, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm with a mix of rain and snow will exit the northern
mid-Atlantic coast tomorrow. A new system will spread a
swath of snow from North Dakota into Minnesota. In the
warmer air, showers and even a few thunderstorms are
expected to affect Missouri. The most recent atmospheric
river will begin to ease its grip on California, but heavy
snow can continue in the Sierra Nevada. Yet another
atmospheric river is forecast to inundate the state by later
Monday and into Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. The
Southeast will be mainly dry, although a cold front could
cause a few morning thunderstorms in South Florida. The
Great Lakes can expect a dry day between the exiting system
to the east and the new storm approaching from the west.
