Officials with the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office said investigators have made an arrest in a burglary case and returned a number of high-end camping and farming items to local residents.
According to information released by MPSO, investigators were alerted last week to a burglary at a camp on Mill Road Wed., June 9, where a break-in ended with the theft of items including guns, clothing, tools, a UTV (utility terrain vehicle) and a John Deere tractor.
During the investigation, MPSO officials said, Madison Parish CID officers were able to gain information which lead to identifying 35-year-old Spencer Scott Nolan as a suspect. MPCID, along with investigators from the Warren County (Miss.) Sheriff’s Office, were able to take Nolan into custody, while also recovering the stolen items, including the John Deere tractor and a stolen trailer used to transport it and other items.
Currently, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively looking for 30-year-old Sabin Reaves, a white male, as well as for 31-year-old Megan Ramsey, a white female, in connection with the burglary.
Nolan was charged with 1 count of simple burglary; 1 count of simple criminal damage to property; and, 1 count of unauthorized use of a moveable vehicle.
MPSO officials said they would like to thank the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce for their assistance in the case.
