Early voting begins Oct. 16

Early voting for the Nov. 3, 2020, elections will begin in Madison Parish Fri., Oct. 16, and will end Tues., Oct. 27, (excluding Sundays) at the Registrar of Voters office inside the Madison Parish Courthouse, located at 100 N. Cedar Street, room No. 5, in Tallulah.

A key procurement reform passed in 2017 will largely be done by a new law that goes into effect on July 1.

Free flu shots available

Thurs., Nov. 19 the Louisiana Department of Health will offer a free, drive-thru clinic for flu shots.
The drive-thru will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Madison Parish Health Unit, located at 123 Bailey Street in Tallulah. Those participating are asked to wear short or loose-fitting
