On March 29,2025 the Tallulah Police Department and the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office was dispatched for a reported shooting of a seventeen year old female in the area of Henderson Street around 4 am. Upon arrival in the area law enforcement officials learned the young female had been struck while in her room.

Tallulah Man Arrested After FBI Tip on Online Threat

A Tallulah man was arrested after federal agents alerted the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office to an online threat of violence, Sheriff Chad Ezell said.
On Sept. 14, the FBI contacted the sheriff’s office regarding a threat directed toward a woman living in Alabama. Investigators determined the message originated from Tallulah.
