Summer temperatures are on the rise and the seniors of Madison Parish are in need of fans to reduce the heat stress. Each year the MVCOA receives donations of the box fans for distribution to seniors who need them. Many homes lack sufficient air conditioning, and the seniors are forced to remain in a hot house or apartment.
Anyone can help by donating a fan or fans for the Seniors. Fans can be purchased and brought by the Senior Center, 203 S Elm Street or a donation may be made and MVCOA will purchase the fans and give them to the Seniors. The fans sell for less than $25.00 and will help the seniors get through the hot summer.
