Meeting Minutes
Chairperson Mrs. Sharon Bridgewater called the Finance/Insurance Committee meeting of the Madison Parish School Board to order at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Madison Parish Training Center (Board Meeting Room), 600 Bayou Drive, Tallulah, Louisiana by asking for a moment of silent prayer. The audience recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
The following is a roll call of Finance/Insurance Committee members.
District 1: Mr. Jeff Wilson Present
District 3: Reverend Eddie Fountain Absent
District 8: Margurite
Hargrave Present
Dr. Charlie Butler, Jr. Superintendent Present
Ms. Sherrie Lee Present
Mrs. Sharon Bridgewater Present
Ms. Tillie Smith Present
On motion of Superintendent Butler and seconded by Mrs. Hargrave to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
The committee discussed item (b) Discuss MPSB August cash flow.
The committee discussed item (c) Discuss Tensas State Bank CD’s.
The committee discussed item (d) Discuss Fiscal Administrator appointment.
The committee discussed item (e) Update of Reduction in Force
The committee discussed item (f) Status update of cost reimbursement requisitions with LDOE. Mrs. Debbie asked to start advertising for the budget the week after approved by board. Motion carried.
On motion of Superintendent Butler and seconded by Mrs. Bridgewater, the finance committee meeting was adjourned.
