Meeting Minutes
Tallulah, Louisiana
November 18, 2025
The Madison Parish Police Jury met in special session and convened at the Courthouse Building, Tallulah, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 4:00 p.m.
President Sanders called the meeting to order and Vice-President Hughes gave the invocation. The roll call followed the announcement of a quorum. The following members were present at roll call:
District 1 Jerry Hicks
District 2 Stanley Ogden
District 3 Dave Wilson
District 4 Johnny Hughes
District 5 Jane Sanders
Visitors: T. Holdiness, K. Guinn
No comments were made during the Public Comments Period held at the beginning of the meeting that allows for comments on agenda items.
Mr. Hicks offered a motion, seconded by Mr. Ogden, to issue a resolution to approve and adopt the 2025 millage rates for E-911. No discussion. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION 2025-15
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following millages are hereby levied on the 2025 tax roll on all property subject to taxation by Madison Parish Police Jury:
MILLAGE
E-911
2.96 mills
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper administrative officials of the Parish of Madison, State of Louisiana, be and they are hereby empowered, authorized, and directed to spread said taxes, as hereinabove set forth, upon the assessment roll of said Parish for the year 2025, and to make the collection of the taxes imposed for and on behalf of the taxing authority, according to law, and that the taxes herein levied shall become a permanent lien and privilege on all property subject to taxation as herein set forth, and collection thereof shall be enforceable in the manner provided by law.
The foregoing resolution was read in full; the roll was called on the adoption thereof, and the resolution was adopted by the following votes:

ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT: None
VACANT: None
There being no other business up for discussion there was a request for adjournment. Mr. Hicks offered a motion for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Wilson. Motion carried.
