Madison High School defeated Port Allen 58–52 on March 3 in the second round of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division III nonselect boys basketball playoffs at Madison High School.
No. 2 seed Madison faced No. 15 seed Port Allen. The teams were tied 12–12 at the end of the first quarter. Madison led 26–18 at halftime and 42–33 after the third quarter.
Dawson Brown led Madison with 17 points. Bryan Vaughn scored 13 points and Jareon Hines added 13. Kwamannjon Robinson scored 8 points. Alphonso Green scored 3 points and Jerell Henderson added 3. Jamarrion Harrison scored 1 point.
For Port Allen, S. Jackson scored 25 points. G. James scored 11 points and K. Lockett added 7. K. Franklin scored 4 points, B. Coach scored 3 and K. Atkins added 2.
Madison will host its next playoff game Friday at Madison High School.
