Prep basketball is in full swing for area teams and tonight's slate of matchups will include the undefeated Madison High School Jaguars facing off against the Marksville Tigers in Tallulah at 7 p.m.
MHS Head Coach John Holmes said the junior varsity squad will get things started at 5 p.m., before the 10-0 Jaguars varsity team tips off with Marksville.
Meanwhile, the Tallulah Academy Trojans will begin district play tonight on the road against Prairie View. The Trojans' junior varsity squads will take the court first, before the varsity Lady Trojans (4-5) try to continue its three-game win streak, followed by the varsity boys (2-3).
The Delhi Charter School Gators will also be hitting the hardwood at home tonight, with the Lady Gators (6-5) taking on the Lady Tigers of Oak Grove in Delhi. The varsity boys teams will meet afterward, with the Gators also holding a 6-5 record on the year.
